Kirbee

Pheasant Feathers Work Of Heart

About

Kirbee is the most recent addition to our crew and we really have enjoyed growing her up some before starting any real serious training. She’s incredibly sweet and cuddly, and we have both fallen in love with her quickly.

Kirbee comes from Pheasant Feathers English Springer Spaniels in Pennsylvania. I have been lucky enough to see some of her relatives in action personally, so when I saw that this litter existed I had to reach out. At a year old now, she is about 35lbs, and just lovely to live with. She has been on birds, but mostly spent the first year of her life growing up and learning some foundation behaviors for the things we had planned to do with her. She had originally planned to field trial, but after being diagnosed with a lumbosacral transitional vertebrae she has had a career change and will be doing scent work and finding other lower impact things to do with Josh, and hunting with me in the fall.
