Teller

Prairierose's Time WIll Tell FOr DUality

About

Teller started his life with me as a field trial prospect, and had a career change to well-trained hunting dog and companion to my dad. He and my dad adore and are happy they get to do cool stuff together.

Teller came to me to be a field trial dog, and was my first experience with the world of field trials. I took him to Lighthouse Kennels to meet Jason, dropped him off for a few months, and picked him up steady. We spent a lot of time at game farms, ran one puppy stake, and at some point it was clear to me that he wasn’t one for the craziness of a multi-dog household. He was neutered at about 2 years old and in the fall of 2021 he went to visit my dad and never came back. He and my dad spent the fall of 2022 hunting, inviting Mando and I along sometimes. When he isn’t hunting with my dad, he is curled up on the couch with Odin, an american cocker spaniel who tolerates few dogs but has become fast friends with Teller.
